Smart Start to Business Course
For Students Age 14-16

This three-day course gives teenagers an in-depth look at business ownership. Students enjoy group activities and games as they develop skills in communication, problem solving, business decision making, and public speaking. Teenagers go home with a business plan, business cards, and flyers — ready to generate sales from their first business ventures.

Smart Start to Business offers students an opportunity to present their business concepts to a panel of local business owners. Using a unique hands-on, real-world approach, this challenging course instills a mindset in young people that will help them discover business opportunities now and throughout life, as well as prepare them for future careers.

Smart Start to Business Workshop
For Students Age 14-16

This one-day event gives teenagers an exciting introduction to the possibilities of entrepreneurship. Students enjoy games and activities as they learn about the characteristics or attributes of successful entrepreneurs and the seven basic steps of a business start-up.

Participants assess their own skills, talents, and interests, and discover that business ownership is a genuine career option for the future. Using a unique hands-on approach, this challenging workshop instills an outlook and mindset that encourages students to think entrepreneurially and work diligently to achieve success.

Jump Start to Business Workshop
For Students Age 12-14

This one-day workshop gives younger teenagers an exciting opportunity to explore the idea of business ownership. Students enjoy hands-on activities that raise awareness of social responsibility in business and stimulate creative thinking.

Pupils are inspired to identify a money-making opportunity and consider starting a business that meets the needs of customers in their local community. Most importantly, this workshop encourages young people to be enterprising problem solvers who bring positive change to the world around them.

The Game of Business
For Students Age 8-11

This one- or two-day program allows pupils to explore the world of business in a fun, practical and cross-curricular way. The Game of Business promotes children's creative thinking skills and encourages pupils to develop life-long personal, social, and entrepreneurial skills and attitudes.

Through interactive activities, pupils explore the origins of trade and business and learn the importance of the law of supply and demand. Students identify enterprising abilities within themselves, consider the benefits of competition in the marketplace, and explore moral dilemmas that businesses face.
