YoungBiz business education programs are designed to teach students entrepreneurship skills according to the criteria and national standards published by the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education in Columbus, OH.

YoungBiz also offers courses and trainings which can be custom-developed according to special interests or needs of students, such as faith-based training and business training related to careers in sports, music, art, journalism, etc.

You're the Boss Classroom Curriculum
For Students Age 15 and up

This activity-based curriculum guides older teens through the process of starting a real business enterprise. As they progress through the business start-up activities and write business plans, students make real-world financial decisions and improve leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. The Leader's Guide provides supplemental activities for teaching courses up to 40 hours in duration. It also includes a glossary, research projects, and an optional mentoring component appropriate for both in-school and after-school programs.

Business Skills Classroom Curriculum
For Students Age 12-16

In this course, beginners are introduced to all phases of a business start-up, from becoming an entrepreneur to launching the venture. This workbook-style curriculum guides students through the process of writing basic business plans, developing marketing materials, and setting up record-keeping systems. The Leader's Guide includes supplemental activities for teaching courses up to 30 hours in length. Each lesson plan includes objectives, hands-on activities, business terms, research assignments, and more.

Money Skills Classroom Curriculum
For Students Age 12-16

This workbook-style curriculum prepares students to save money wisely, invest for the future, avoid debt, and be smart consumers. The easy-to-understand lessons help students set financial goals, create personal budgets, compare bank services, and explore ways to save and invest for the future. The Leader's Guide provides guidance for teaching courses up to 30 hours in duration. Lesson plans provide instructions to deliver a balanced financial literacy course that teaches students to earn, save, spend, and invest wisely.
